Q.  What happened to free shipping?

A.  As you probably know, free shipping is never truly free. It's built into the price somewhere. We wanted to make that part of our no surprises philosophy and thought it would make comparison shopping easier. We were wrong. Most printers advertise their prices without shipping and buyers were not calculating the total cost of purchase, so many were missing out on our great values.. Plus, shipping costs vary greatly throughout the valley depending on the delivery address, so we wanted to be sure everyone was paying their fair share. By calculating the shipping separately we can assure that you have an accurate product price to compare and nobody pays a penny more for shipping than they should.

 

Q.  Will you match a competitors price?

A.  There is always someone out there willing to cut corners to offer a lower price. We strive to offer the highest quality product at the lowest possible price. We will make every effort to match a competitor price. However, we will not lower our quality standards to do so. To assure that you are getting accurate prices on equal products our price matching policy is as follows.
1. Items MUST BE EQUAL. This means material type, thickness, size, ink and any applied finishes.
2. Price must be in writing in the form of a quote, estimate, recent invoice, etc.
3. Set-up or design fees must be shown as a dollar amount or stated whether included or not included in the price. If design fees are not shown we will match product without design fees included.
4. Shipping charges must be shown as a dollar amount or stated whether included or not included in the price. If shipping fees are not shown we will match product only and list shipping charges separately.
5. We reserve the right to purchase the product from the competing vendor at the quoted price.

 

Q.  Do you offer graphic design services?

A.  Absolutely! Graphic design is the core of our business. Standard design is included in the price of many of our product offerings. Stock photos, custom photography, and logo design are additional. You don't need to buy printing from us to get affordable graphic design. We are happy to work with your current printer.

 

Q.  What is HD offset printing?

A.  Like in televisions, HD stands for high definition. HD printing is offset printing that uses an ultra-fine random dot pattern rather than the coarser "screen door" type pattern typically used. Look at most color printing with a magnifier and you will quickly see the dot patterns. The HD printing dot is so fine it is difficult to see even under 8X magnification. The result is extremely sharp images and smooth color transitions, plus a much broader color range not possible with conventional process color printing.

 

Q.  Do you have an online design tool?

A.  No. Reason #1: Most online design tools are template driven which is a very bad idea because you are sharing your brand identity with other companies. People remember images much easier than names, so if another company sharing the same template is less than reputable it can damage your reputation as well. Plus, those designs are protected by copyright so you can't use them elsewhere, such as advertising. Good for them. Bad for you. Reason #2: Online design tools are a pain in the _______ (Fill in the blank with your preference). Our customers would rather use software they are familiar with to create their projects. We are able to work with most popular file formats. In most cases sending a file will eliminate any art fees, even if we need to make adjustments.

 

Q.  Why do you require prepayment for orders?

A.  Our extremely low prices are possible because we do not have any accounts receivable or payable. This saves a substantial amount of costs associated with maintaining accounts and cuts loss to virtually zero. We pay our suppliers for materials at time of order which allows us to take advantage of discounts, negotiate the absolute lowest possible prices and pass those savings on to you.
Payment is not due until artwork is approved and actual production is to begin. Major credit cards accepted. If you don't like entering your card info online, we can usually stop by and swipe your card in person.
